Just a few lines to thank you for last night at BJO- you were super!
Caroline Brown-Belfast Jazz Orchestra.
Thank you for your most entertaining programme last night.
You certainly sent our guests home in a happy frame of mind and I am most appreciative of that contribution to our public relations.
With best wishes,
Jim Lutton (Chairperson Ballymena Peace and Reconciliation Partnership).
To Ivan and the Panama Jazz Band,
Thank you very much for playing at our wedding on August 9th.--you were fab!!
Matt and Sam.
Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. You really saved the first half of the evening with your talent and humour, and we have much pleasure in enclosing our cheque for the amount agreed with the Federation Chairman. The time spent at the end of the evening sent everyone home with a smile in their hearts!
Once again our grateful thanks to you and we hope you travelled home safely.
Irene A. Sproule
General Secretary, Federation of Women's Institutes.
Dear Hilary and Ivan,
I am writing on behalf of us all in the Saintfield branch of Save The Children, to thank you very much for your brilliant entertainment last Friday night. I'm sure you could see from my face that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, and lots of other people have said to me that they thought it was the "best ever" at that event. "Stranger on the Shore" and the "Carpenters Medley" went down particularly well, which says something about the age-group you were catering for!
Very many thanks again
Jean Perrin (Hon. Sec. Save the Children).
On behalf of Larne Borough Council may I thank you for taking such an active part in last Thursday's Princess Victoria Memorial Service.
The performance of " Victoria " was extremely well received. Feedback from relatives and members of the audience was marvellous and indicated how much it meant to them to have such a wonderful piece of music dedicated to those who were lost.
Once again, many thanks for your assistance in making the event so memorable.
Geraldine McGahey, Chief Executive, Larne Borough Council.
Re the Panama Jazz Band C.D.--Sounding good for a bunch of "oldies". I have given it an airing several times and there's more to come!
Candy Devine (Downtown Radio).
Just a quick note to say thank you for performing with Amici at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast . We really enjoyed the experience, and hope the evening was a success for you.
Danielle (Amici Forever).
Linda and I want to thank you very much for dedicating your "Fanfare For The Mayor" to me. The beautiful manuscript will occupy pride of place on our wall, and will serve to remind us of a truly memorable evening.Sincerely,
Jim. (James Curry, Mayor of Ballymena.)
